Colour change gemstones that also display a strong UV reaction can add value and collector appeal to the gemstone. Some examples of gemstones that can display this UV reaction include Zircons, Chrome Tourmaline and some Sapphires.
This 365nm long wave Ultra Violet flashlight uses a multi-layer filter to reduce ambient light to make the black light a stronger more pure form of long wave UV light.
So while this flashlight is small in size, it produces a very strong and pure long wave UV light and generally a strong reaction in gemstones that are reactive to long wave UV light.
This flashlight takes disposable or re-chargeable AAA batteries that are not included with this flashlight.
