Colour Change Zircon – 3.56 cts

Description

This 3.56ct Madagascan colour change Zircon has an underlying base colour of mauve maroon when viewed indoors or outdoors in full sun but will then show a distinct colour change from a lavender purple to a raspberry red.

When viewed with cool white light it displays a very attractive lavender purple colour which then changes to raspberry red under warm incandescent light.
Not all Zircons will show this colour change effect, with only a very small percentage of these types of stones will ever display colour change.  
This Zircon is untreated and completely natural, it has a VS clarity rating (very slightly included) and is also a “High” type Zircon with a high RI of 1.98, giving it a sparkle that rivals diamond.

Zircons are still a fraction of the price when compared to other gemstones making them one of the last undervalued collector stones currently available, and If they also display colour change as this one does, it can only add to their value!
